Crystals for Healing Headaches

We all suffer from headaches from time to time, but is it necessary that our first line of defense is the medicine cabinet? As an author and publisher, I work on the computer quite often, and even more often, this results in a headache. Aside from some mediation, yoga, soft music or soft lighting, the very best resource is healing crystals.

Lapis Lazuli

Lapis Lazuli is a stone known to connect with the third eye. When you lay still and place this stone upon your third eye, you will notice a lift in your head pain. If you are not feeling a change, then perhaps you do not connect with the stone correctly, or that the stone needs to be cleansed first.

Clear Quartz

Clear Quartz is always a favorite for clearing out any blockages and the nadis throughout the body. The nadis are the connecting points to which the energy channels flow through your body, in and out of the chakras.

An all around cleansing stone, and therefore a major player in pain relief is amethyst. You can perform the same type of procedure with any of these stones. Laying still, placing the stone on your third eye, and feel the head ache being removed from your body.

Any of these stones are good for head aches, but also for a multitude of other healing purposes. If you are new to stone healing, the next time you find yourself drawn to a shop that sells individual stones, begin to slowly form your collection. Amethyst, quartz and rose quartz are the most widely used.

Keep connected with me here and I will discuss many stones and what they can be used for. Also, if you have any excellent stone/crystal stories, or experience, I would love to hear!

What is your favorite crystal and why?
